Michigan State 2015 signee Mufi Hunt continues to be bothered by a knee injury suffered more than a month ago, and he has returned from an LDS mission trip to his home in Salt Lake City to have the knee evaluated.

Eugene Hunt, Mufi's father, said his son underwent an MRI on Tuesday to learn the extent of the injury suffered on June 5 on a senior class retreat

Eugene Hunt said the family will send a copy of the MRI to Michigan State, and that Dantonio has been in contact with them throughout the process to ensure the best for his son.

"The support we get from coach Dantonio and the Michigan State staff has just been unbelievable,'' Eugene Hunt said. "We are blessed that our son will be playing football around those type of men.''
