The Baldwin Promise: Atlantic Covers Baldwin's College Tuition Assistance Program

If you have been to Baldwin, or anywhere in Lake County, you know what it is like. Poverty, in some cases deep poverty, is more norm than exception.  The Atlantic has a good article on the college tuition program for students of Baldwin schools. It is close to the Kalamazoo promise but not entirely privately funded. No real commentary, but I found it interesting (small town in Michigan gets write-up in big national publication). Although there is some controversy about these programs, especially when taxpayer funded.
