If they lose to us and OSU (that would be awesome to host a 10-1 PSU team btw...unlikely though) they would be 10-2 with their best win over Michigan? Who's likely to be a 7 maybe 8 win team?

I think Maryland will beat them. But yeah, that's a terrible schedule.

It would be great though if a 10-1 PSU team was coming into Spartan Stadium last game of year. We will kick the dogshit out of them and it will be considered an elite win.

That OOC schedule is absolutely pathetic. I am so glad we are not pulling that bullshit.

Truthfully, how were they supposed to schedule aggressively with their sanctions? They were likely doing this year's schedule years ago while worrying that their team might be so bad in 2015 that Villanova could beat them. It is terribly weak, but I expect thats the reason.

Uh, San Diego State is ranked #1 in the country. Temple is #12. I don't know what you're talking about, bro.

That's my exact prediction for PSU this year.

They are notoriously soft schedulers, but they scheduled softer than normal because they thought they'd still be under sanctions, so they scheduled even easier to help pad their win totals (according to PSU fans on Off Tackle Empire).
So...again, sounds like those fucks still care about football more than anything else and didn't learn their lesson.

Holy shit...a serious and well-made point by Bob Sakimano on Michigan State football. Is this real life?

Except it had a qualifier. The best team we beat last year was Baylor.HT wrote:Robert J Sakimano wrote:meh - best team we beat last year during the regular season was Nebraska.. who was so good they fired their coach at the end of the season.

that was the bowl game - as you my recall. And the OP didn't include a potential bowl game for Penn State.InTenSity wrote:Except it had a qualifier. The best team we beat last year was Baylor.HT wrote:

They aren't going 10-2. I don't think their coach is good enough to get 10 wins even with a weak schedule.

10-2 doesn't look so makeable after that beatdown in Philly.
