Walker exits stage left.

Scott Walker, who everybody thought would be a much stronger candidate, has pulled out. He was overmatched at every turn.

I suppose when you cut a couple hundred million from the budget of one of America's best research universities, but then put taxpayers on the hook for a new arena, you lose some of that fiscal street cred. I hope the Koch money is redirected to me now that Walker is out.

and middle-class working people everywhere, along with strong, independent women rejoice..

Not living in GA, I have no dog in the fight but it’s clear from reading reports on Herschel Walker’s campaign, his claims about his own education and his claims about his business success are untrue.

But that didn’t matter to Georgia voters in the GOP primary.

I hope I'm wrong, but it's not gonna matter in the general election either.

maybe the decent folks of Georgia who voted for Ossoff and Warnock in 2020 will stay engaged and turn out. Maybe Stacey Abrams will pull a lot more decent people who value their families, democracy, freedom, etc in.

but, looking around and seeing how republicans and their accomplices in the mainstream media are appealing to the lowest common denominator: the racists, bigots, 'pro-life' christians, pro-school-shooting christians, etc., I'll believe it when I see it.

Yes, Wornock has been gain ground since the Republican Primary, while Walker has been flat.

Thinking the Governor's race will help Wornock.

High voter turn out should help Warnock and Abrams. Kemp is actually doing OK in the polls.

The GOP allowed Trump to take over the GOP and the aftermath is a plethora of lowest common denominator candidates and office holders.

Former US Senator Alan Simpson (R-WY) who voted for Trump in 2016 but not in 2020 describes Trump as “a vicious animal” who poisoned democracy and changed the GOP into a cult.

The race won’t be decided on election night. Some of the things that helped turnout in 20’ have been eliminated. Then there’s the whole “election review” squad thing they put in place. Unless Walker wins a close count then it’ll be rubber stamped on the quick.
