Baseball replay sucks - nice tackle Utley

We will see a new rule about staying in the base path.

It will go the way of running the catcher. Last night the Mets lost their SS who only is making $1.88M but the Dodgers have Jimmy Rollins @$11M who's going to be in harms way for the next Chase Utley. Other SS still in the playoffs are Texas' Andrus @ $15.25M, Jhonny Peralta with the Cardinals @ $15M, Astro's Lowrie @ $8M, Blue Jay's Tulowitski @$7.5M and the Cub's Castro @ $6.85M.

Running the catcher and now taking out the SS or 2nd baseman was okay with owners when MLB players needed an off season job to make ends meet but now we are talking about real money.

If I managed the mets every pitch would be aimed at Utleys head next game. Fuck that guy. Dirty ass play.

I like Utley. It's the postseason and show no mercy. You never know when or if you'll be back in the postseason.

Just caught up with it. Missed the game last nigt and agree it was a cheap shot. Torres is showing his true colors as well. Gotta take action against utley and send a clear message there's no place for that kind of play in baseball.

Toronto also got screwed on a clear call in game 2 of their series

He tackled him. If you're going to call Utley safe (when he never touched 2nd base), then you should be able to look at video and call the guy at first out for interference.

The umps screwed up everything about that play. Utley will probably play Monday. Odds are very good the benches will clear.

Mets got completely hosed. The umps rewarded Utley for dirty play.
