Skiing
Is it hard? Never been before and I'm sure you bros have shredded some mountains before.

Re: Skiing
I've never been snow skiing so I'm probably not the best person to ask.

Re: Skiing
Take up snowboarding. Easier to master. Though the first few times will be tougher.

Re: Skiing
I thought skiing was easier than snowboarding. Then again I already knew how to ski before snowboarding really got popular.

Re: Skiing
How old are you? Skiing is not hard. Skiing well is hard. If you are athletic you will pick up the basics rather quickly. Getting to level 1 and then 2 wont be that hard. Getting from 2 to 3 may never happen. Depending on how much time, $$ and effort you want to invest. Do you want to hang out on blue groomers all day and have a few pops in the lodge every couple hours or do you want to shred the glades on the back of the mountain? Either way its a great way to spend a few weekends a winter

Re: Skiing
I've done both. Learning curve is way tougher boarding. I respect skiers but would never go back. I think you need to be more athletic to board personally. Even at my advanced age I think boarding is cooler. Maybe I'm a dork. Either way the equipment is going to put a dent in this month's trust fund distribution.

22. All I'm asking is to ski, like stay up without being miserable on a fucking mountain. I think it's going to be Mount Killington in Vermont. This is a one time thing so I'm just trying to survive the trip. I'm fairly athletic so I think I should be OK. Lots of pops, etc, in the lodge. I don't think I've ever done this type of thing so I have no idea what to expect.

Make sure you start the day with a lesson. Don't let your friends teach you.

Exactly. They'll be all "dude, it's super easy just do this." then you'll break your fucking arm. Spend the 50 bucks or whatever on a lesson to start.

2 out of 3 of those should be no problem for OTPT
