Being listed with Biggie and Duffy is a high altitude group.

Biggie took advantage of John Hannah's forward thinking of making MSU a welcoming place for GI Bill vets returning from WW2 and Korea to build his teams.

Duffy took advantage of the racial discrimination black players faced in the Deep South and Texas to give him a pipeline to elite players.

Dantonio is building winners in the 85 scholarship era where the cell phones with video, the internet and 24/7 recruiting news have made "sleepers" extinct.
