Went down to a customer's Ohio plant a couple months ago with our salesman to get a quote lineup.  On the way back he stopped in Toledo to get gas.  Discovered there was no way to get directly back on I-75 NB there and ended up using GPS to find a route back to it.  Drove through some of Toledo's outskirts by the water and eventually got back on I-75 in Michigan. Liking to know where I've been later looked up a map of the area at the border.  

Was amazed to discover something called the Lost Peninsula.  A very small piece of Michigan in Lake Erie that can only be accessed by road driving through Ohio.

Canada is north of Michigan but Windsor is south of Detroit.

Maybe that's a Canadian oddity, like their bacon not being bacon.

Sometimes, when I need to tell people where something is, I just point at my hand. Like, if someone says "how do I get from here to Maple and telegraph?" I just point at the lower right portion of my hand and walk away. So convenient.

the Detroit marathon goes across the Ambassador Bridge into Canada.. run a few miles and then take the tunnel back.

The tunnel sucks when you're running in it. I would not recommended it.

also, the only animals I like are cats.
