Personally, I can see why you ( or anybody else) think we will lose.

But we are NOT going down by 3 TD's. Other than Bama in the bowl game, I can't think of a single game where a Dantonio coached team has been blown out.

To paraphrase coach D: we will measure up, we will compete.

My prediction is based on the HOPE that the defense plays its best game of the season and more importantly MSU can win time of possession to keep the ball away from the Buckeye offense.

But in last year's 49-37 loss MSU won the TOP by about 45 seconds
Gave up up 568 yards (268 rushing and 300 passing)
2 of the 7 TD's were on passes of 79 and 44 yards.  Those 2 scores in the final 4 minutes in the 2nd quarter broke the game open for OSU.

Biggest concern is Braxton Miller is a more versatile, explosive receiver than Devin Smith was last year.

You seem to rule out the possibility that MSU could bring it's A game. ( I know we haven't seen it yet this year).

What have you seen from OSU this year that makes you think that are unbeatable ? Even with their A game ? ( which, again, I don't think we have seen it this year )

If both teams play their best, it's gonna be a hell of a battle that we can win.

Jeez guys, while I expect OSU to win based purely on the comparative talent levels, I don't expect a blowout and I think we have a chance to win if we play our best and OSU doesn't. OSU doesn't get a free pass. They will have to play their best game to win, so will we.

All this talk about blowouts is really a bit over the top. We're not that bad. We may not be as good as they are on their best day, but they aren't that much better if we play our best.

I think it will be a lower scoring game that Cook wins on the last drive. There is no team that is leaps and bounds above everyone else this year, and that includes Ohio State.
