The mystique of the bronze helmet grows

I was just about to start a thread on this. Let's put 2 and 2 together. There are enough datapoints now to say that the bronze helmets do have an impact on at least our physicality, if not other aspects of the game.

I am no expert, but I would seriously consider breaking out the bronze helmets for every big game! And let's include next week as a big game.

So are we wearing these in the Big Ten championship? I like the green way better, but I can't argue with results.

OK then all white with a white helmet. If no white helmet, green. But I have a feeling it'll be those bronze ones.

This, although I don't know which is the home team. If we're the visitors, I want the all-white and don't care which helmet.

We should wear the Hawkeyes home uniforms. That would really mess them up.

My favorite bronze helmet moment was when Gholston punched Lewan Taylor in the mouth.

Lewan was a dirty player, he had it coming.

I haven't watched a Tampa game in years. Going off the stats he looks like he's played every game this year. 36 tackles and one sack.

Iowa wears black helmets. We want to have a contrast in case any color blind people are watching.

Same. They're just not on much in our viewing area. Admittedly, I'd forgotten that's where Will was playing. I probably need to start reading the Spartans in the NFL thread.

We should have worn bronze helmets against Bama.
