Here mods can make it too much work for Ross types to endlessly troll The Swill. Its one of the best things about The Swill. 247 and Trevor won't officially take anyone off the roster/close an account. They just ban a screen name for 99 years.

That's exactly what Ross was setting this up for. He would have responded to his post getting deleted by having a public fit and posting stuff on or over the line until something bent or broke. While that's how he envisioned spending his holiday weekend in the basement, it wasn't how I was going to spend mine out and about. He knew what he was fucking doing and it wasn't an accident. When Travis suggested fucking with him in different ways to get him to do more and more outlandish stuff, he replied just like I said he would. By trying to disrupt the function of the forum (and posting nudity).

As for the whole "precedent" / slippery slope argument and how other posters are handled. There are specific rules to follow as Heat alluded to. Specifically, Geronimos can't be banned without a vote. Regardless of what they do. That's why we have the fucking rules. In part, so we don't have to waste time with fucking trolls.

IIRC, there's a progression where Forumotion would delete posts, users, or sites if required. Heat and SRC know more about this than I, but I suspect that SRC would be notified by Forumotion to take care of the problem before they would take an action as drastic as deleting the site. I'm sure Forumotion has dealt with trolls before and I doubt that they would blow away an entire site on a knee jerk reaction over a few posts.
