What's the narrative here?

Paranoid men driving high with 20lb of marijuana call police on themselves

Eventually, the men decided to speed up the process of their arrest and called cops – politely requesting that they “just end it”.

While pulled over near a gas station and an Applebee’s restaurant, Ayala-Doliente told a confused Madison County dispatcher: “Hi, uh, we’re the two dumbasses that got caught trying to bring some stuff through your border and all your cops are just driving around us like a bunch of jack wagons, and I’d just really would like for you guys to end it. If you could help me out with that, we would like to just get on with it.”

“You got caught doing what?” the dispatcher replied.

Kind of hard for the media to manipulate the story and craft a narrative. The facts are right there for all of us to see. Although a potential narrative could be that marijuana has such a pacifying effect its legalization should be a no brainer. I'm struggling to find a narrative other than these guys are idiots.

The narrative that the drug war has been useless is wrong. My narrative is that these guy would have been dealing cartel meth before long and destroying communities by spreading horrible addiction. Yeah, that is the narrative I'm going with.

I've smoked a lot of great weed in a lot of different places and I've never gotten so high that I act as if I've just smoked DMT.

Something tells me they were doing a lot more than dabs.

Haven't heard weed referred to as dope outside of Nancy Reagan era anti-drug ads. If I were to ask any black market entrepreneur for "dope" he would be looking to procure diacetylmorphine.

You can get those on the side but be careful one of the side effects seems to be an enlargement of the gluteus Maximus. Very dangerous stuff.
