This is exactly why I like the unwritten rules of baseball and am in the camp of keep the bat flips out of baseball. The unwritten rules make the game so much more interesting.

Btw bring back home plate collisions and get rid of replay so we get managerial ejections again.

Baseball to allow pitchers to forgo the four pitches for the intentional walk.

I've hated just about every change to the game in the last 4-5 years starting with the removal of homeplate collisions.

Those moments are few and far between, but you are exactly right. When something like that happens it's very memorable.

Baseball is one of those sports that lends itself to odd moments and strange plays.
