Didn't see that coming. Saw an article several years back where they had Bubba on the NFL All-Century team. Think it was SI but not sure.

I find that hard to believe. Bubba was good but not that good. He only made the Pro Bowl twice in an nine year career for three different teams.

He was pretty dominant in college.

No question - he was the second best player on some great Spartan defenses maybe alltime great but Smooth said "NFL All Century" not college.

I think he is in the College Football HoF.

Not rulling out that it was a College All-Century team. It was a long time ago I read that article.

Before he blew-out his knee in the '72 pre-season, he was dominant. He was always considered among the top 3 or 4 D ends even though teams ran away from him. The last few years of his career were on a bum leg.
