Well my guess is that a majority or close to it of deer rifles are semi automatic so the rate of fire would be the same.  And even with levers or bolt action rifles a good rifleman can come close to matching the rate of fire.

That said, again close to a majority of deer rifles would be of larger calibers.  30-30, 30.06, .35 etc.   The 7.62 which is the most common chambering for an AK is close to a 30-30 but not quite.

So you have the same rate of fire and a larger caliber in a common deer rifle - thus more lethal.

I will admit the AK looks badder though - it's why the ballers carry them.

I guess I meant you were assuming that a person would bring a semi automatic standard deer rifle into a strip club (and not a non-automatic deer rifle) and/or that this person would still be a good rifleman (if he didn't have a semi-automatic standard deer rifle).

So...again...what if that wasn't the case? How would that impact your theory that an AK-47 would be less lethal?

I am not sure what the rules are but I took my Bushmaster X-15 to Crunchy's tonight. What I do know is that when I layed that on the table no one had to worry about being defensless

At a certain point isn't arguing about the lethality of a definitively lethal thing sort of a moot point? I mean, I get that if you're trying to take out one person a knife is less lethal or effective than a nuke... But with a deer rifle or an Ak 47, I'm pretty sure that they will be relatively comparable in their effectiveness in killing you.
