I remember he called Izzo to help him with offensive sets against Florida's pressure the night before the NC game. He had coached the Magic against Pitino's NBA team or some shit.

I'm lost, be he helped us win an NC. Good enough for me.

It's troubling that I can't remember what I ate for dinner two nights ago, but I can still recall that Skiles played for Plymouth High School. Thanks, Jack Ebling, for sticking that morsel of info into every damn column you ever wrote about Skiles.

Top of my head, he had a horrible game in the quarrters. jud said "screw it i'm leaving" then somekind of bus delay or or whatever, and Jud decides to see the semi's. Goes back and that's when Skiles goes off, shoots a shot to win it all that people claim curved in air. Rest is history.

I don't know, maybe I'm embellishing in my own head, but something like that.

Actually, I do hope Skiles comes back just to stand in front of the Grove Street 7/11 with a six pack of his favorite pop, flipping off every EL cop that drives past.
