I read yesterday that the main reason the had him there was in case Pelfrey blew up and they needed 4-5 innings from him.

I really find the last two years to be depressing. Just like last year they have David price lose so many 1-0 or 2-0 games.

When the bats are hit the pitching implodes. I think it's the culture and poor management. It's time to send a message and fire Ausmus.
