One of my uncles told me he won an RV in a fishing contest back in the 80's. I think he might be bullshitting but who knows. The best thing I've ever won was $100 on a $2 scratcher.

I guessed how many pieces of gum were in a canister at Taco Bell when I was in high school. Won the gum AND some free tacos. They also took a picture of me wearing a crown and hung it on the wall for a couple months. If you ever went to the 28th Street TBell in GR during that period in 2007 then you probably saw my stupid fucking face on the wall.

One spring I flew to Florida to stay with my grandparents for a couple of weeks and then help drive them back to Ohio. While in FL we went to a barbershop quartet concert. During the intermission they started giving out gifts. Somebody wins something for being the furthest from their permanent residence, and so on . I won a peanut butter pie for being the youngest in the room.

I won 4 tickets to the Notre Dame Spartans game several years ago. Ended up giving them away because I had to go out of state for a funeral. Won $100 in the Michigan lottery a couple months ago and $50 in the Florida lottery last week. Played Fantasy Five for 2 or 3 bucks every day I was there and ended up winning a total of around $80.

Do I have to tell you about the 5-10 grand I've lost there in my life? Cause what assholes and degenerate gamblers usually do is tell you about their winnings, but leave out the stories of going home with their ass kicked, which are way more prevalent then the winning stories.

Some people take longer than others to get the ball to the next person in line, especially when they get knocked out themselves. This will lead to the second person shooting literally .1 seconds after the guy in front of him.

I forget. Mackinaw Island was one of them. Probably should have done that because I've never been there but I didn't feel like making the drive.

Not the best thing, but maybe the best story. Won a raffle ticket to compete in a wing eating contest at Buffalo Wild Wings. The winner got a pretty good quality Matt Stafford jersey.

This guy came up to me and offered to compete for me and said he'd give me the jersey if he won. He was just in it for the glory I guess. And the free wings. I said go for it because I really didn't feel like pounding down 12 of their hottest wings at the time. Plus I don't like Matt Stafford nor am I a jersey guy.

He proceeded to win easily and gave me the jersey. I later re-gifted the jersey to a cute girl sitting next to me who I had been chatting with for some time prior to that point, and later in the evening got her phone number. It was a win-win for everyone.

This past year I won tickets to the Big Ten Championship Game...and while there won tickets and airfare to the Rose Bowl.

It's not as good as my wife winning a bikini contest (if I was married), or winning her, but I'm good if I don't win anything else in my life cheers

I won an iPod when they first came out. I had to buy a subscription and accept one shipment of vitamins, sign up for a credit card and use it and accept three issues of Sports Illustrated, then be automatically set up to subscribe. I ordered the vitamins and cancelled the subscription, bought $5 worth of stuff at Meijer and cancelled the card and subscribed to Sports Illustrated and sent in the written notice to cancel the subscriptions. I did those things and everyone laughed at me. Said I got scammed and would have my lunch eaten by this promotional group. Two weeks later a box came and inside it was a, no kidding, full blown iPod. At the time it was $500 to buy such a thing.

The iPod was a big as a bar of soap, but can you remember how incredibly awesome they were when they first came out!?! Suck it haters. I got over big time.

Couple years ago the Tigers had a scratch off lottery ticket. If you lost you could submit it for a second chance offer. Through that I was a prize package of a Jersey, plaque, couple hats, seat backs, mini bat, and a couple other random things.

It said the package was worth like $500. Jersey & hats were about the only items of value, rest of it was generic shit.

An NCAA tourney bracket pool freshman year. About 40 kids were signed up at $5 a pop and I picked Florida-OSU (Florida winning) in 2007. Yep, I won over $200.
