I've won multiple things gambling, but those don't really count because, as Dwags mentioned is common, I'm way more down than up. Don't think I've ever won a parlay for more than 2k, nor have I ever hit at the tables for that. I've definitely hit at video poker for 2k, and maybe a bit more.

My favorite is that when I was 5th year at MSU, Reno's East was having a Halloween costume contest. First prize was a 27" color tube TV (this was '99). We were at parties before and after, but went up there to watch the Lions play someone (Tampa maybe?) in an important division game. There were dudes up there absolutely decked out. Probably 35+ year old adults, in hundred dollar costumes, just trying to win a TV.

I had gone to Jo Ann Fabrics, and bought a large swath of lime green fabric. I found a red beaded necklace somewhere. And I bought two blue afro wigs and sewed one on top of the other. I guess the sight of a muscled Marge Simpson dancing to Thriller with her dress falling down over her boobs was too much to resist for the judges because I sent those costume ringers home empty handed.

I won tickets to the movie Naked Gun. I didn't pick them up and didn't go. One time I banged this chick I met up north and I won the clap. I am pretty much a winner.

I won 4K playing keno. First time I ever played. I was at a wedding and tWife was standing up in it, so I was put at a table with the 300lb Aunt of the bride. I said screw this and went to the bar. Picked 5 numbers and the kicker. Hit all five with a 5X kicker. Hello 4 Grand!

Mr. Duncan let me pick out any item I wanted from Duncan's toy chest for donating some money to his charity, but then he made me take the turtle doves.

It must have been a 10x kicker. Trust me here, I have a bit of a keno problem.

Played $2 per draw.  Hitting all five payed $410.  2X for betting $2 then the 5X kicker, so yes, in effect, 10X.

I was on MSU's winterguard and we won a world championship my junior year.

Had the losing poker hand to hit the Bad Beat Jackpot at the MGM casino in Detroit. Ended up with almost $50,000 after taxes. Not too bad for having four of a kind and losing the hand to someone with a straight flush while playing 1-2 poker (I think I lost $150 on the hand)

Not really. I play occasionally, but only $20 at a time.....I know that will probably never happen again.

I won 2 Tigers Playoff tickets back in 2007 I believe. I saw the contest on the front page of the state news and signed up for it online. Tigers ended up losing, and the seats were still in section 300 something. But can't complain about free.

This last fall, I won a lions jersey at the Red Ox Bar in Utica. It's pretty easy to do if you go and watch the lions game there on Sundays. You get a ticket if you stay the whole game, and they draw numbers. There aren't a whole lot of people there, so your chances are good. I let my husband pick out the jersey for himself since I already had a lions jersey, and they were all men's sizes anyway.

Won $10,000 in a local radio NCAA Tournament Bracket contest about 10 years ago.

The Tigers only lost one playoff game at home in 2006 (they didn't make the playoffs again until 2010), and it was game 1 of the World Series. That is a pretty good ticket to win for free!

It was for sure in 2006 then. I'm getting old and not remembering my years.

A 4 day trip to a resort town in Mexico. I was acting as a representative for the company I worked for at the time, so technically, the company won it. But I never told them about it, and just kept all the info to myself. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I won tickets to an MSU game on valenti's show for calling up and singing the fight song in the "mother" voice schtick that used to call his show all the time.

Really not sure if I've ever won anything else.

Best: A long-sleeved Mortal Kombat t-shirt from a video store raffle

Worst: Tickets to the Motor City Bowl won at a golf outing

Back in the 80s Topps was running a Single, Double, Triple, Homerun contest. each Topps pack had a scratch off card, if you hit a single you won a Major League baseball, Double a MLB baseball glove, Triple MLB bat, and Homerun you won all three.

I had a double. But never sent the thing in with the prepaid S/H.

I won a raffle for a second parking space in my DTN complex. Three semesters straight. Felt like the luckiest SOB in the world when my number came up that third time.
