The peoples of the United Kngdom spoke 3 years ago. There's no need for another referedum at this point. Maybe they can do it again in 20 years or so like the Scots did on independence

As stupid as I believe Americans to be, I recall reading that the day after the Brexit vote, the #1 Googled term in the UK was "what is Brexit"?

So at least we're not alone in all of our gloriously misinformed stupidity..

McCarthy was right about Alger Hiss. Nothing smarter than a mob, huh? To pretend that right wing populism (racism) isn't an undercurrent in the Brexit vote just like it is in the wall, and to pretend that Russian disinformation campaigns which are so easily adopted by the right are not at least partially to thank for the rise in populism that led to Brexit and Trump is laughably stupid.  

People are not smart.  People are easily fooled.  People like simple answers like "It's the EU's / Democrat's fault that all these nasty brown people are coming here."  I'm sick of this shit.

So May barely survives this latest no confidence vote. How in the fuck is she going to have any leverage to come up with a better Brexit deal? The UK is as screwed as we are.

Are you a UK citizen or some know it all from across the pond who thinks they know what's best for the people of Great Britain?

Brexit was never going to be easy which is why all the principle backers bailed when it was time to actually implement exit from the EU they worked so hard to get to get passed.
