2016 is boring. Who wins in 2020?

Assuming the next president is Clinton or Trump, and assuming neither gets impeached but remains unlikable, who do you think possibly wins in 2020? Kasich and Cruz definitely seem to be playing for 2020.

I am going with Kasich. Like the Ds, the Rs failed to nominate their strongest candidate. Among those that lasted in the R primary, Kasich would probably be running stronger against Clinton. The problem is he might not be able to generate the grassroots appeal you apparently need to win the R nomination.

I think Cruz has too narrow of an appeal. He might be able to win the R nomination, but can he win a general election?

Depends on who wins and if whoever wins finishes their term.

If Trump wins its possible the Democrats win in 2020 like what happened with one term Governor Ventura.

If Clinton wins Kasich or Rubio. If Trump splits the party Lasich may have a leg up since unlike Rubio, he has never endorsed Trump.

I voted for Kasich in the primary and I think Hillary will win, so I'll say Kasich. That is... If republicans can manage to do all it is that they need to do to win the presidency, nominate a not potentially insane psychopath.

Kasich would be up 10-12%... Rubio's youth and relative inexperience would've hurt him but he'd also be up.. probably 5-8%.
