Some kind of BLM protest is going on at the EMU game and possibly about to interrupt the game. There is a large group of black students locked in arms together with some cops surrounding them and they have descended towards the field. I don't have the volume on that game but the cameras keep panning towards it. It's on CBS Sports Network if anyone cares.

My cool story bro moment.....

Down in Rocky Top for the game obv. Place is jacked up, and they are playing Bama. This is the Shula era so Bama sucked.

Rocky top is up a couple scores. We sing Rocky top. Crowd is going nutso. Having a good time, but I need a pic with Smokey. I know damn well tKid is my only play. So I grab tKid and go on the hunt. I find the tunnel where the players/carts/dignitaries walk through. I talk the the security guy manning the gate and ask if Smokey walks out through here. He says "Naw... old blue ain't walking out". I try my best sales pitch to try to get inside the gate and he denies me. So I play my Ace card, "we traveled all the way down here and my kid just wants to meet Smokey, I swear I'll be cool"........... he looks around, unclicks the gate and we are in. Next thing I know we are on the field for the 4th quarter.

TL:DR...

Bama gets pistol whipped and the team is walking through the tunnel right in front of me and tKid

Then a Bama coach walks up to me and my daughter... spits out the biggest fucking chaw I've ever seen right at my feet (and I've chewed since I was 15) and asks tKid, "do you want a sucker?". I'm speechless and he gives her a sucker. Then Smokey comes by and we get pics.
