Week 7 general CFB thread
First off, a big F U to the NFL for ruining Thursday night football. We used to get sweet matchups (Vtech, Gtech, Clem, Arizona, ASU, etc.). They were great exposure games for BCS teams. Now we get ECU, Temple and Monmouth because the big boys don't want to compete with the NFL sheep. And there is no game tonight because of Matthew.
That is all I got right now.

I'll be at MSU but probably not watching the game while I'm in the stadium.

Redic. Â Louisville TE gets stripped at the Lou 15, they call forward progress stopped. Some how Cutcliffe doesn't go on the field and murder the ref. Â No replay, no discussion, ah well, play on. Two plays later, Lou TD. Â Absurd.

That was a great play by Duke, and a terrible call that ruined it. The Louisville receiver was in a one on one battle to break the tackle and gain more yards, and the ball was stripped. No way that should have been called dead.

Right?
Even worse, how does Cutcliffe just stand there and not say anything the refs?

Re: Week 7 general CFB thread
LOL... refs called back a BYU TD for a phantom hold. BYU magically gets a TD on the next play from 3rd and Asssssiiiiiaaaaa. Â The refs call a PF on a Mormon WR for celebratin' (he spiked the ball... God forbid). Â Fucking Illuminati.

Re: Week 7 general CFB thread
There was at least 7 holds by the SEC team on that play. ESPN refuses to show the replay because they know they will be outed. Â No way that many holds are logically possible.

Illinois is a joke and of Rutgers 4 losses, 3 have come against Top 5 opponents and their other loss was a 7 pt loss to a decent Iowa team.
Thanks for posting this when it was too late for us to reap the benefits of this lock.

A great Saturday. Â MSU can start a conversation with one game win streak and Stanford can hand ND their 5th loss with a shitload of season left.

Stanford has gotten blown out their last two games by a total of around 60 points. I still think they'll win, but it's going to be an ugly game.

Rutgers has scored 7 points in the last 14 quarters. The only dude they had blew out his knee in week 4 and haven't scored since. They are just a bad football team.

No doubt they're an awful team but so is Illinois. Â Illinois' starting QB was out so I just see no reason why Illinois should be a 4 pt favorite. Â Rutgers has 2 turnovers in the red zone today and 3 overall yet only down 7. Will break even if they cover but really need them to win outright
Oh totally, Rutgers could easily win. It's a battle of who wants it less. But I don't think their is any conspiracy on them being bad, they are just bad.

If I was an NFL GM, not sure I would take Watson. Seems like he has some depression issues. Definitely not the same QB he was the last two years.

Narduzzi 35-28 over VA at 1/2 time. Seems to not be a defensive battle.
