Mouse in the Wall
So yesterday before work, I heard something rattling around in the walls. Really thought nothing of it, as I saw some cable/phone company guys doing maintenance, so must've been them.
I come home that night and hear the same noise again. Opened up my unused phone jack outlet, and couldn't see anything inside. But the noise keeps happening, almost one-hundred percent sure it's a mouse. Has to be.
So today after work, I open up the phone jack outlet again to look around. I leave it open, one screw is in, although it is loose enough to let something out.
About ten minutes ago, the phone outlet starts shaking and such... the fucker is trying to come out!!
I don't have any mouse traps, but I figured I'd try something for my amusement, since it'll be a couple of days before maintenance can come here to my apartment and address the situation. I opened up the outlet, and I lined a small pot full of peanut butter and filled it halfway with water.
So the mouse's reward for getting out will be a drowning, painful death, mixed with peanut butter.
Any chance this works, for the hell of it? I wouldn't mind getting a trap in the outlet but I don't want my place smelling like death for a week.

A stun grenade would work better.

I think I'll hit it with a bat like Ross did and act like a tough mother fucker hitting an animal.

Re: Mouse in the Wall
Update: Earlier tonight, the suspect started making noise in the walls again, after going about 4 days without activity in the area.
It's a chipmunk! He said his name was Chip, he's a rescue ranger or some shit.
Anyways, I baited him out with peanut butter lined around the pot half-full of water, and closed the outlet behind him so he fell in the pot. He swam around in it until I walked outside and threw him out. I plugged all the holes near my deck and such, so hopefully this isn't a recurring trend.

The United States currently has a 36 pound supply of Plutonium 239. Call your congressman, and see if you can get a pound of it to irradiate the varmint in your wall.

Good work.
I'm glad you didn't kill him.
FWIW I've heard that tTy's mom likes to kill and torture chipmunks in a similar drowning manner.

Had a chipmunk get behind some stuff on my enclosed porch. I took the dog out there, pointed chipmunk location out to him and told him to have at it. The little focker just looked at me and walked away. Damn dog anyways.

Not lying here, but we went to Wild Birds Unlimited a number of years ago to look into getting some bat houses for the yard. We asked one of the staff members exactly how the bat houses worked and she told us that the bats would fly into the houses and lay their eggs in them. Luckily a manager heard this dummy and quickly corrected this chicks errors.

Make sure you shape it like his friends, the rabbit and squirrel, to lure it in.
