Who makes the Playoff?

Penn State shouldn't have scheduled Pitt, and they'd be the 3 seed like OSU is. Plain and simple. It's pretty evident that you can get in with a soft non-con like Washington did.
So you can say with a straight face that the two that is a result of a non-conference game in September outweighs the actual head-to-head result of the two teams and the championship they play in?
I would just like that confirmed that is the actual reasoning.
You're calling ME stupid for having a different rational thought, when you have been eviscerated multiple times on this board.
Got it. Maybe I'll say this site sucks, cry to Blanch, and leave like you threaten to do. Byeeeeeee! :)

I believe there was a rule that you had to be ranked (so) high in the BCS rankings to make a BCS game. We were not (since we lost in the Big Ten Championship, and had 3 losses). Michigan was. You had to be top 14. We were 17. Michigan was 13. The bigger scam was the Sugar Bowl taking Va Tech over Boise State.
That (in part) led to the creation of the CFP (and the NY6 games).
This system is better than that system.
I like the sports I follow to be settled by wins and losses not politics and drama.

I generally stick to sports discussion, ie "trolling", while you resort to personal attacks. Don't think I called you dumb, really wouldn't be necessary

Well, Herbie, you definitely were insinuating it.
I'm going to complain more about this site.

Clearly they aren't.
That is just quoting the result we are arguing about. I would post pictures of the OSU-PSU scoreboard and PSU holding the championship trophy.
Post whatever you want.
They are not clearly better.
It is not clear they are better.
If it was clear, they would be ranked higher than Ohio State.
Not a difficult concept.

OSU beat UW and OU on the road and UM (who, prior to that game, I believed was the best BIG in my limited eye-test). No one else has those wins including AL

BTW...Planning on going to/been to a Nuggets game yet? Denver doesnt feel like a hoops town to me but IDK
Been to two. One against the Pistons. No one really gives a fuck about the nuggets right now but people appreciate their young core they got goin. See if they can put it all together. I don't mind it, cheap tickets when I want to see the best professional league in the country.
Nice! Enjoy. If you can, check out 2/3/17 Nuggets (home) vs Bucks. The Greek Freak is worth the price of admission (biased but check the stats in the article) IMO. Tickets should be reasonable since Milwaukee is still building. Its a Friday night. Should be fun.

Why are we still arguing about this? Who cares.
Is PSU clearly better than UM? It's close. We already know and accept that the committee is crooked.

I just can't see how you can make this logical argument. Imean I do see how - you think that OSU's 11-1 is better than PSU's 11-2 which boils down to OSU beating Oklahoma and Pitt beating PSU in September. And that this somehow outweighs PSU beating OSU on the football field, yes the very two teams we are comparing and, and further outweighs PSU's conference championship in the conference both of these teams play in.
To me it is not even close at all, a head to head win and a championship over a non-conference game.
I don't think anyone here is very quiet about their hatred for PSU. I hate them more than UM. But they did get hosed in my opinion.
Not saying i'm upset about them getting hosed, for the recrod

Let's for a moment say Uofm beat Iowa and PSU beat Pitt.
Who is in the championship game?

I think this was discussed. If UM beat Iowa, PSU would have been eliminated based on their loss to Pitt (assuming OSU beat UM), and OSU would have gone.
If PSU hadn't lost to Pitt (and there was a 3 way tie)...

6. The representative will be chosen by random draw.

Holy shit that would have been a random draw? That would have been awesome.
