Snow, damnit!

I'm tired of walking through mud and seeing nothing but dreary gray and drab brown. We had a deal! When the earth goes to sleep around here, the snow is supposed to cover up the ugly. We keep our mouths shut about November and April because that's part of the agreement. But something's broke and you damn well better fix it fast.

I hate to say it, but I kinda agree. A good 6 inches is all you need. I'm tired of it all just being a wet mess out there.

This is the worst winter ever. It is worse than last year's winter. This is pretty much spring. One day last week or the week before it was 56 degrees outside. It has not snowed since around Christmas, and there is no snow on the ground.

The good news is I am not using that much propane. The bad news is I probably could have skipped the snow plow contract this year and saved some money.

I normally agree, especially because I travel all over for work and I hate driving in the snow. If I had it my way, it would be 70 degrees here. But this constant rain and wetness is annoying too.

As an athletic director the thought of snow scares me. Schedule is jacked enough already and we haven't even had snow.

yep - started snowing this morning in EL around 5:30 or so.. didn't look like it would amount to anything, really. Came in from running, took a shower, etc - went back out around 7:15 and the edges of the grass were white.

I wish the parking situation at my employer didn't suck complete ass. My options this winter are basically:

1) Walk 15-20 minutes through the snow each way
2) Drive 10 minutes to parking ramp, then walk 15-20 minutes through the snow each way.

Being able to walk to work in the summer is awesome though. Not sure how I feel about the trade off yet. I do remember walking to class at MSU 30 minutes each way and not even being paid for that, so I guess this isn't too bad in the grand scheme of life. First world problems.

Coworker and I started talking about hating winter today.  He's in his mid 20's and lives about 4 miles from work.  Said he's been keeping an eye on craigslist for one of these for winter work commutes
