I have a weird on and off allergy to shellfish. I will eat it one year and be fine, then the next year I get all woozy and barfy. I'm not going to stop eating shellfish so it's kind of a russian roulette game. Yea, I'm a badass.

Yeah, I don't think you're allergic, I think you're getting food poisoning from eating seafood in a landlocked state...

Yeah, I don't think you're allergic, I think you're getting food poisoning from eating seafood in a landlocked state...

It is a thing. My wife is the same way. She'll be fine eating shrimp for a few years and then she'll get swelling in her throat and it's off the menu for a while. Then she'll try a bite of shrimp again and be fine.

Or... Roc is eating shrimp from a truck stop.

No, let me be clear. I only eat shellfish probably once a year or so when I am vacationing, because, yeah, I wouldn't buy it here. And it's not every other year, it's just occasionally.

I had a dish of seafood at the Mall of America Rain Forrest Cafe once (this thing was like a stew of seafood) and spent the next 2 days vomiting my guts out (#funtimes).

I've been scared to eat to eat anything other that a dedicated dish ever since.

I love oysters so much that one day I ate a bad one and got sick as shit puking for like hours, and then the next day I ate them again. I fucking love oysters.
