Couldn't agree more. Leave the game alone. They've done enough harm.

They need to leave the game alone. Want to speed games up get rid of replay. It has been a disaster.

I'd do 2 things. I don't mind the leisurely pace so would do nothing there.

I would modify the DH rule one way or another. All in or all out, I really don't care.

Eliminate inter league play!!! I love it. Before interleague I believe every team played the other teams an equal number of times. It's the purest way to figure out who is the best team.

I agree, I also agree either choose the dh or eliminate it but with interleague being prevalent they should have universal rules

If you eliminate interleague play you would need to have 2 more teams to balance the schedule.

This proposal of mine adds Montreal and Las Vegas....also possibly moves Tampa to Charlotte.

So go to 16 team leagues - 4 -4 Team divisions and no wild card or 2 8 teamers with 2 wild cards.
Either way you end up adding 2 teams to MLB.

As the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline approaches, several Tigers' names have popped up in trade rumors, including Michael Fulmer, Justin Verlander and Daniel Norris.

Add Miguel Cabrera to the growing list.

Former Yankee and FOX analyst Alex Rodriguez made a bold prediction on Saturday's pregame show before the Yankees-Red Sox game that Boston has a shot to acquire Cabrera at the deadline.

"I've been watching (Red Sox general manager) Dave Dombrowski since 1993 when he took over the Miami Marlins GM job, brought the championship to Miami in 1997," Rodriguez said. "I would not be surprised, now this is just me...but I would not be surprised to see Dave Dombrowski pull off a blockbuster and get Miguel Cabrera to the Red Sox."
