Reading about Fox News talking heads scrambling to shift blame about the reasons the preponderance of white males commiting mass murders is troubling but predictable.

It’s tough try to get back to blaming Democrats for nearly everything when the November mid terms are about 120 days away and guys with guns are killing multiple victims at parades, in schools and churches.

Thanks for the call Kingston. Actually I don’t think it has anything to do with trump. I think it’s intellectual dishonesty if they didn’t point out that red states generally have worse crime rates than blue and that “tough on crime” policies are entirely ineffective at eliminating crime. Locking people up for stealing a loaf of bread isn’t going to stop people from stealing to eat when they’re starving when creating economic conditions where they can earn money for bread is an option. (Or for that matter just giving them the damn bread).

If your media source didn’t mention that republicans actually have no plan around crime then they were being lazy and kinda lying.
