For the haters- Seriously though, a new season is starting. Pick a team, commit to them like you went to school there or something. Watch all of their games. Get to know the players. Learn to care if they win or not. If you do that, you'll honesty begin to love the sport. Plus at the end of the season we got another World Cup coming. You'll know some stuff going in and love it.

If nothing else... what the fuck else are you doing Saturday or Sunday morning?

Im a huge Liverpool fan, so you should pick them :)

But really, all premier league (England) games are on tv, so one of them. The other leagues are good too, but you might not be able to watch so investing is harder.

For premier league teams, there are 20, id pick one of the bigger teams since they have a chance to win shit. Of those-

1) Liverpool- the best really. Michigan State.
2) Spurs- they're pretty good but haven't actually gotten over the hump and won. Think of like Wisconsin or something.
3) Chelsea- they won last year and in 2015 so if you're bandwagon I guess. Ohio state.
4) Arsenal- they've Arsenal. I don't know want to say. They are fine I guess. Nebraska.
5) Man City- they're owned by big middle eastern money and can buy lots of players who are really good. I don't think it's a bad choice if you don't pick Liverpool. Penn state....(if you ignore the child rape thing)
6) Man United- assholes. Only like them if you want to be terrible like Miami Spartan. Michigan.
7) Everton- I don't know if they really belong In a list with the other 6, but they have a lot of popularity in America. A lot of American ex players, but none currently. Northwestern.

There are 13 more teams, but other than west ham or I guess Leicester I can't in good conscious suggest one of them. The thing is, there's this thing called relegation. Every year the bottom three teams get knocked down a division to effectively the MAC, so if you pick a team that that happens to you're sorta fucked. Not all of the 11 teams I haven't mentioned are really at immediate risk for that, but they aren't on top either. They are the middling teams who just sorta fish around between 8th and 15th every year.

Go with the team that averages more than a goal per game. I mean, a 1.27 gpg average means the offense is on fire. Find them and love them forever.

Earlier today was like the Thursday night NFL opener. But then tomorrow morning and Sunday morning. Most games are gonna be Saturday and Sunday mornings... problem for you is that most of them start at 8am (bullshit mountain time) so that might be an issue.

I ain't gonna hate on that choice. Enjoy your new found fandom! You'll find that greenway is sometimes wrong (4-3 was today's game... if each goal is a touchdown and since the game is 2 hours instead of 4 it's similar to half of a 56-42 football game) but sometimes he's right that it's gonna be 1-0. That's more like watching a baseball game. Which is also good.

I won't mind selling him if we can get loads of quality, hopefully FSG will reinvest. Moreno is not the answer at LB, and Matip and Lovren are 2nd team defenders. Need VVD and another top quality CB. Would like to see less of Henderson, and get a new holding midfielder. That offense tho.... scored three and actually should of had 5 or more.

Agree with all of this... now that I've watched him play I'm excited about Salah. I mean, I knew he was fast but damn. There was one play they didn't score on where mane fed him coming off the wing... dude was like a fuckin gazelle going down the sideline.

For coutinho- it sucks because I love watching that guy play, but if he really wants to leave I guess you just have to let him and spend the money on more pressing needs.
