I'm so out of the loop regarding cfb I didn't even know IU and OSU were playing last night. The schedules are so soft in the modern era it has killed my interests.

I'm not saying there aren't good matchups from time to time but at the end of the season lets look at FSU and Bamas records. I bet 85%-90% of their games are blowouts.

I dig it otpt. It might be because we had our high point and it's going to be a long frustrating climb back. It might be because there isn't anything that resembles competitive balance.

For me I don't think it's any of those things. I actually think that the playoffs sort of ruined things a bit. Remember that rose bowl a few years ago? It wasn't for a national championship. But it was amazing. Nothing will ever be quite like that again.
