It has not had the energy i thought Downtown would bring to it. They’ve been subpar for awhile but still I don’t get how dead it is. The palace probably had regulars win or lose but you think the bars and night life would bring some fucking noise there. Not sure, honestly. Travis has a theory that the seats at mid court are empty because they included unlimited food and booze - upping the price. Douchebag corporate people probably own them.

The crowd looks worse on tv than it really is. Still not good though.

I honestly thought it was pretty loud there given the empty seats and in the first game I went to - the opponent. And in the 2nd game I went to there were a ton of Warriors fans. But they were easily drowned out by the Pistons fans. They brought energy.

Still there were way more empty seats than I expected for the Warriors game. You really have to check mid way through the 2nd quarter for an accurate read. I think people are still trying to figure out where to park and stuff and with traffic in the city it's a lot harder to get in/out than at the Palace.

Travis' theory has a lot of merit but I find it hilarious. People spend top dollar to go to the game but in the end all they want to do is drink and eat and watch it on tv
