There's another issue when it comes to celebrities getting married: jealousy. Even if they remained faithful, they'd still have to put up with accusations from suspicious spouses. I can't imagine how bad that would get for a married professional athlete or actor. You'd almost have to be a moron to get married in that position. I don't see how couples like Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward managed to stay together for fifty years.
