when we live in a society where someone who mocks disabled people, brags about sexually assaulting women, openly spews racist and bigoted rhetoric the way most of us might talk about sports around the office.. you can't be surprised when people then feel compelled to refer to 17 year kids as "Hitler" just because they disagree with them.

this is the culture that America has created. It's who we are. It's time to stop acting surprised by it.
