1st they came for the guns...
.... in England. Now they come for the knives. I find it hilarious since people here have mocked anyone that suggested "knife control".
Here it is in the real world.
BAN CUTLERY NOW!
Here it is in the real world.
It was recently reported that London now has a higher murder rate than New York City. And I thought Britain had strict gun control? How can there be gun violence then?

Too bad your Bob approved sources don't provide you with this information.
Commentary: How gun-free zones invite mass shootings
"Of the 97 countries where we identified mass public shootings, the U.S. ranks 64th per capita in its rate of attacks and 65th in fatalities. Major European countries, such as Norway, Finland, France, Switzerland and Russia, all have at least 25 percent higher per capita murder rates from mass public shootings."
"Most gunmen are smart enough to know that they can kill more people if they attack places where victims can’t defend themselves. That’s one reason why 98 percent of mass public shootings since 1950 have occurred in places where citizens are banned from having guns."

”powerline blog” (whatever the fuck that is) posts a scary article about knives in April 2018, which is actually just a picture screenshotted from a guardian article from July 2017 gets posted to a message board in November 2018 because some conservative figure probably reposted it for no reason at all. It’s fascinating watching how the passing of weird propaganda information happens between people with conservative internet brain rot works.

Re: 1st they came for the guns...
Goose, nobody with a brain is dumb enough to think getting rid of guns will make mass shootings disappear. We've successfully flooded this country with enough guns that it will never happen. People are just trying to fix a mess that's already been created. Think of it like cancer. You'll probably never get rid of it but you certainly can try to control it. Cancer is gold for certain people (they profit from it). So are guns.....

A vast majority of illegally owned guns in this country are directly traced at some point to an irresponsible gun owner.

About the author......
In response to the dispute surrounding the missing survey, Lott created and used "Mary Rosh" as a sock puppet to defend his own works on Usenet and elsewhere. After investigative work by blogger Julian Sanchez, Lott admitted to use of the Mary Rosh persona. Sanchez also pointed out that Lott, posing as Rosh, not only praised his own academic writing, but also called himself "the best professor I ever had".
Many commentators and academics accused Lott of violating academic integrity, noting that he praised himself while posing as one of his former students and that "Rosh" was used to post a favorable review of More Guns, Less Crime on Amazon.com. Lott has claimed that the "Rosh" review was written by his son and wife.
"I probably shouldn't have done it—I know I shouldn't have done it—but it's hard to think of any big advantage I got except to be able to comment fictitiously," Lott told the Washington Post in 2003.

Re: 1st they came for the guns...
Hey that's great though. This Lott fellow has come up with a formula, added his own qualifiers to get the result he wanted, and said it's all good, no worries. I'd expect nothing less from a guy on the NRA's payroll. The fact remains, and it is INDISPUTABLE, that the U.S. is far and away the leader in gun violence related crimes per capita among developed countries. Now if your goal is to be safer than countries like Valenzuela, Honduras, Columbia, Guatemala, or Swaziland, well then I guess congratulations are in order. USA!! USA!!

Yes and every single statue in the U.S. has been demolished with the material being repurposed to build secret prisons that hold Clinton family enemies.

When you live in Mio MI you worry about being unable to buy 18 types of knives on the internet.
