Absolutely harrowing.

And Jacob Soboroff did a report on touring a detention center full of migrant children in Brownsville TX. A converted Walmart into a prison and this observation he had is so creepy and orwellian.

Just finished tour, don’t even know where to start.

One of the first things you notice when you walk into the shelter — no joke — a mural of Trump with the quote “sometimes losing a battle you find a new way to win the war.”

Presidential murals everywhere. But that one is 1st.

Pittsburgh Gazette fired a cartoonist for making fun of Trump. The cartoon that got him fired was displaying the cruelty of this administration taking kids from their parents. He plans to not stop drawing cartoons that mock Trump and hats off to the NYT for giving him a platform to tell his story.

Yep, it's conditional Trump is detaining children and separating them from their parents because Dems won't give him the wall. There is blame on both sides of this. This law should have never been in place.

But the main point is simple, no matter which side is enforcing it. Separating these children from their families is wrong and immoral. There is no other way to look at it. And the right is using the Bible to defend it. Besides the fact that they don’t separate church and state, it’s the ultimate hypocrisy justifying these concentration camps saying it’s Gods will. There are more examples of how we should treat other people in the Bible than by just saying.... well god says we have to follow the law. The law killed first born sons and Jesus. So that makes it ok because it’s the law.
