Like everyone you love, sometimes they amaze you and sometimes you want to stick a knitting needle in your eye cause fuck fuck fuck they suck.

When you were a kid I bet your parents were part time proud of you and sometimes horrified by you. I’ve said it a billion times nobody has a clue how to be a parent.

Just babysit them and make sure they don’t do something stupid like put their face in a grill. By the time they’re 12 usually you can start having adult conversations with them and they can provide something organic to the conversation.

Implying I do have children, if one of them has the temper trantrums I had as I child I will shoot myself

Be ware of anyone who gives advice about raising kids. Not only are they assholes, but their kids probably are too
