But yeah. Bosh would have been just good enough to have no Sheed but not good enough to win that year, and thus, probably not ever. Dwayne wade would have been playing behind rip. The only real argument is if you wanted Carmelo to take minutes away from tayshaun, which, given what the pistons did on defense with tayshaun is probably not a great plan.

Just saw the news and pretty shocked. I think this whole laker situation was an overreaction up to now. Lakers were a fourth place team up until Lebron’s injury and imo trending in the right direction.

Also, I recall when they landed Lebron all the talking heads said it would take a year to land the next piece and most projected them to barely make the playoffs. Somewhere along the Anthony davis thing the media came up with all of these ridiculous expectations and labeled the entire organization a failure. I’m kind of shocked the Lakers didn’t stay the course and stick to the plan. My guess is Magic had a great shot of landing that second piece this summer it just took some patience. On the other side Magic is a complete legend and he doesn’t need this shit. The media and social media is more toxic than ever and the players are behaving like a bunch of losers throwing their team and coach under the bus. If a legend like Magic doesn’t want any part of that I respect that.

The battle for the last spot in the East tonight will be interesting.

Enigmatic Pistons @ NY Knicks, who have already clinched the worst record in the league and don't really have anything to lose. They have already shut down some guys and one of their better players, Hezonja, did not play in their last game with a mysterious "flu". But they may want to win this one. Fizdale is apparently best buds with Hornets coach Borrego. Also will Blake Griffin even play?

Magic @ Charlotte. Magic have clinched the division and a playoff berth, but are fighting with the Nets for the 6th seed and the right to play Philly instead of Toronto. I would assume they want to win. Big man and rim protector Jonathan Isaac is ruled out with a concussion. Hornets meanwhile are playing really well and need a W and a Detroit loss to get the last playoff spot. Miles Bridges has been inconsistent, but since becoming a starter has steadily improved. He had 18 and 6 last night against Cleveland with a few blocks and didn't play much of the 4th in a blowout.

Some good drama tonight.

That's interesting, hadn't heard that mentioned anywhere else, but it appears you are correct. Orlando won the division but that's 2nd tiebreaker to H2H and Detroit is 3-1 vs. Orlando.

I'm already hearing Vucevic is questionable with a stomach bug. Maybe Orlando isn't going to try very hard after all.
