as long as the racist, bigoted sexual predator, the GOP and the mainstream media can successfully demonize brown people and keep the deplorables sufficiently terrified that brown people are coming for them, don't expect any changes.

as I've said here many times, hate, fear and paranoia are very strong human attributes that can be manipulated very easily for gain.

I could be wrong, and I certainly don't have a crystal ball.. but I suspect that you could fast-forward to 3-5 years or so from now that all of this might not work out real well for the GOP and their systematic, deeply-rooted corruption.
