Can I get the backstory to this? Someone has made a movie out of the song?

Bill Cain, wrong, Saw Green nails it. He won the golden globe. I loved the movie tonight. He was impressive. Lots of liberties taken with their history, but the wife and really liked it.

Thought it was really good too. Saw it in a theater and it was great to hear those amazing songs on a really good sound system in a room full of people.

The liberties Brian May took with the history of Queen nearly ruined it for me. Rami was great, but no way did this deserve the Golden Globe over A Star is Born.

If this gets a Best Picture Oscar nomination, something is wrong.

I'm not big into regurgitating a movie already done three other times and saying it is the best picture made that year. To me it's kinda like putting new siding on a house a saying it was the best house built this year. But I'm a dick.

Did you see this new version? It's actually really fucking good, and I despise musicals for the most part. It's a pretty rough movie sometimes and Bradley Cooper was fantastic. I don't like country at all yet it had some good songs.

I haven’t seen a star is born. And yeah, some historical facts were stepped on. Typical though.

No. I'm sure it's a good movie but best picture? How does it differ from the three other times it was made? I'm willing to bet both Cooper and whatever that chicks name is, both watched the other three versions before their version was made. Isn't that kind of a cheat sheet when it comes to comparing movies for awards? I'd take any movie on the best picture list over a re-make everytime.

How many people really knew queens history going into the film? And what did we miss?
