25 years ago today, one man got 5 hits off of Nolan Ryan in one game.

Ventura should have brought it a little stronger. Ryan got a few good uppercuts in. Good stuff. That's the most baseball I've watched all summer!

Didn’t realiz Bo Jackson and Pudge were in that game.

Saw that. Pretty cool.

They just featured this clip in the Nats broadcast....Laughing about Pudge being part of it, and then the crew telling a story of how they showed the clip numerous times when the Nats played the WS when Ozzie Guillen was the manager. They said Ventura later lamented "I was halfway there and realized I made a huge mistake."

This solidified Ryan as my favorite pitcher of all time

Least Ryan could have done was give the other guy a bloody nose. For having him in a headlock and landing a few good punches it turned out to be a big fail.
