What was the point of showing Chubb at the airport, and then ignoring him the rest of the episode?

Coleman, after apparently being demoted to the second-team offense during practice, stormed into head coach Hue Jackson’s office and questioned the move.

“Why am I running second team?’’ Coleman asked Jackson on the second episode of HBO’s Hard Knocks. “That s—t’s crazy.”

Jackson told the young receiver to ask offensive coordinator Todd Haley for an explanation.

“If y’all don’t want me to play, why don’t y’all just trade me?” Coleman responded before walking towards the door.

Coleman quickly got his wish and was shipped to Buffalo less than 24 hours after that in exchange for a 2020 seventh-round pick...

Reality TV frames people in the way they want you to see them.  A good example would be Roback who for the first four episodes of Hard Knocks seemed to be a rather unintelligent frat bro.  In the last episode they showed him in a much more positive light.

His girlfriend (Ally Goff) ran track at both Georgia State and Eastern Michigan.  She was on the dean's list at both schools, was honored as "All MAC" academically and she has a masters degree.

She may not be a theoretical physicist but I doubt she is as dumb as they seemed to portray her.
