Except a majority of Germans supported Hitler and the Nazis, so they would have won referendums. Pure Democracies are mob rule. Majority doesn't make something right.

Also, this is a majority of people that actually went to a primary election held in August and voted (or took the time to vote absentee). If you want referendums then they should always been done in conjunction with a presidential election. Something tells me you libs would be opposed to that.
