Tough news

Just found out a former coworker that took a LOA due to an illness passed away a few weeks ago. :(

I know I am a needling jerk to many of you 99% of the time here, but this kind of puts things in perspective. I know you all are people with family and friends and lives, so please hold those people tight and enjoy every moment of life you have with them! Life is too short.

I have a coworker on extended leave and they’re saying she’s not doing well. Can’t imagine. I hope the family finds peace.

Roc, I've had other coworkers pass away, but those were sudden. Car accident. Heart attack. Things like that. I did have a former coworker pass sway a few years ago too though. She battled breast cancer for years. She was only about 45 though. Tough stuff.

Death is never easy to accept. I find the sudden ones, like traffic accidents, most difficult to deal with. A second or two earlier or later and my niece would still be alive. Same with a neighbor's daughter.

Sorry pantrt, that’s tough. I was just thinking of the parents who sent their honor student to class at warren fitz yesterday. Imagine that call.
