The Spartans host the University of Windsor today at 4 p.m. at Munn Ice Arena in their only exhibition game prior to the beginning of the season.

• Michigan State returns 89% of its point production and 93% of its goal scoring from last season, both of which are fourth-most nationally and the most in the Big Ten.

• The Spartans' top four scorers from 2017-18 all return - Taro Hirose (12-30--42), Mitchell Lewandowski (19-15--34), Patrick Khodorenko (13-19--32) and Cody Milan (6-15--21).

• MSU has 21 returning letterwinners (three seniors; 10 juniors; eight sophomores) and welcomes seven freshmen.

• The Spartans begin the regular season on Friday, Oct. 12 at Munn against Northern Michigan. Friday's game is free to students and is also an MSUFCU night.v

I hear ya, just figured with a core returning....... Guess its different than football. When a 4-8 SCum team returns 8 guys from a crappy offense their ranked about 12th nationally pre season, lol.
