GG Allin on Showtime

Anyone see this new Showtime doc?

I saw the doc Hated a while back and it gave me nightmares. It's probably the most insane thing I've ever seen and I think I blocked it out until yesterday. I was listening to Eddie Trunk and he discussed the doc. I remember him popping up in the music magazines back in the day when he was threatening to kill himself on stage for the Halloween gig and I remember when he finally passed away. At any rate this film should get everyone in the holiday spirit.

He also stuck a banana up his ass and threw it at the room full of NYU kids in Hated. He was kind of a big deal back in the late 80's. Thinking back my first exposure to him was in People Magazine. My mom read that magazine and I remember an article about his Halloween Suicide gig. The media used to fixate on him. He was on Geraldo and Donahue. I can't believe anyone would want to go to the show. Sort of waiting for Bob to explain the reasons why.
