Agree with his politics or not, dude is a legend. Good luck to him.

He was an absolute giant in Congress. Possibly as powerful as any representative ever was, historically. Rarely lost a political fight. I’m sure there were many times when he was a real jackass about things, but his commitment to his constituents and to the working class in general cannot be questioned.

Bob when someone wants the job, they’re good at the job, and the people want them to do the job.... it just enrages me to my core. I would prefer that we have six month term limits so that no one actually knows what they’re doing ever and we can be ruled by corporate lobbyists who control the constantly new congresspeople’s votes instead. It makes so much more sense.
