What's going to be your personal kick in the nuts when we play Tulsa?

First of all you know it's not gonna be a blow out. 30-23 or 21-13 I"m thinking, so we know it's not gonna be this big blow out "Oh watch out for MSU" type game. Name an opener recently that did that for you.

So, putting that aside, what's going to be the kick in the nuts that is going to depress you, even with a victory?

For me, it's going to be by and large, our offensive line play. I just want to see some serious movement and some serious pass protection. I"ll not even watch the ball for one play out of the first ten. I'm going to watch from tackle to tackle. And a tight end when necessary. If we suck there, my travel schedule will be made for me.

I'm going to guess the OL play will be fine to good and our RBs will run into the backs of OL and ignore wide open holes. And that will be emphasized because we will run the ball 30x. Also BL will show he's back but have a terrible costly int keeping the game closer than it should be.

Sounds like your personal kick in the nuts will be our lack of a good offensive back and no improvement over the off season.

Tulsa was like 3-9 last year. People forget Utah St was a very good team last year and the year before.

I see a 42-13 type game versus Tulsa with 220yds rushing and 280 passing.

I miss an explosive offense. I'd even take a shitty D if it meant we could have an exciting offense. I don't know if I can handle many more 9-7 losses. At least 41-38 loss has some excitement in it somewhere. I know Defense wins game, but our offense makes me sad. Football isn't supposed to make me sad.

Having the coaches searching the stands for a punter, after the first two get injured in the first half, because of uncalled PF's for roughing the kicker that the announcers will say they've never seen not called before.

Only being up by 10 points in the 4th quarter, so once again, we need to continue to keep our starters in to finish out the game, instead of running up the score to rest them.

I fully suspect this year to be glorious....

If you recall, it always takes a game or two for the O line to establish rhythm. Last year the injuries piled up so quick they didn't have time to settle in and D was on his 4th starting lineup in the 2nd game... Consequentially the running game blew and passing game followed. Not to mention the skill player injuries.

That shit's been erased. I'm thinking final four... Scoring 40 a game.
