Hand gun owners

What’s your home/personal protection choice? Just curious. batting around the idea of getting one. Never owned one. Have 3 hunting rifles but no pistol or revolver. Kinda think anything over 9mm caliber is a bit much for home or personal protection.

Can’t go wrong with a glock 19 9mm and a Remington 870 sbs shotgun.

If you’re talking about in the home. I think concealed carry is completely unnecessary.

I have a 9mm s&w shield that I carry in the summer and a glock 23 40 cal that I carry in the winter. Don't go smaller than a 9mm. Also, use hollow points for protection, but not when training as they are more expensive.

Go to a range that rents guns and find a reputable brand that feels comfortab6to you. I will help if you have anymore questions.

I had an old Remington 12 gauge shotgun that I kept under my bed. Sold it not long after the kiddo came along. Easy to load and fire if someone is heading towards your bedroom.

I’ve played around with my cousins and brothers guns. .357 .44 9mm .45 ACP the common law wife says it has to be something she is comfortable with so it probably rules out anything bigger than a 9mm. Ironically she’s been to range quite often as a kid. Her dad was always dragging her there.

Why is that a weird question Pantry?

My security detail wires all of the doors with outside egresses with C4, including mercury triggers. Beyond that, you don’t need to know my in-home firepower.
