That one was tough for a number of reasons. We actually showed up in the first half, up 28-3 (I think). Then the Lewerke pick six.. giving up a 4th and 16. The interference call in the endzone on what would've been a very difficult play for Illinois to convert..

I can handle losing to Ohio State, Wisconsin, Penn State - even when we don't look great. Today's game (the 2nd half.. heck, 4th quarter) feels like a new low for the Dantonio era.

Not sure what the off season answer is, but from a roster standpoint, it's not going to get any easier next year.

The 1st half bobbled pass in the end zone was 7 points. Int gives Illini the ball and they score a TD to end the 1st half.

14 points that could have gone a long ways towards a win.
